During the event, the sponsors handed over a gratitude house, worth VND 160 million, to Sung A Vang’s family, 94 years old, a Dien Bien soldier from Huoi Mua B village, Keo Lom commune, Dien Bien Dong district, of which the People’s Army Newspaper and CNS supported VND 80 million.
Meanwhile, Giang Senh Tung’s family, 94 years old, a Dien Bien soldier from Tia Dinh 1 village, Tia Dinh commune, Dien Bien Dong district, also received a gratitude house, worth more than VND 200 million, of which VND 80 million was from the People’s Army Newspaper and CNS.
Sung A Vang and Giang Senh Tung are H’Mong ethnic minority people, facing housing difficulties.
On the same day, the People’s Army Newspaper and CNS offered 200 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to policy and poor households in Dien Bien Phu city.
In addition to taking care of laborers’ life, the corporation, in coordination with the People’s Army Newspaper, and other units and sponsors, well implemented gratitude and social welfare activities.
Reportedly, in the first quarter of 2024 alone, CNS invested more than VND 420 million in social welfare work.
In the framework of the program, representatives of the sponsors and local authorities granted the households many necessities.
