Gratitude houses built for needy families
PANO – The A Mu Sung Border Guard Station, in association with local authorities in Nam Chac commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, handed over two gratitude houses on May 29 to the two needy families of Tan Ta May in Suoi Thau village, and Sung A Hoa in Nam Giang 1 village. These two families used to face housing difficulties.
The two 52sq.m houses were built at a cost of VND 90 million, of which VND 80 million was contributed by the staff of Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company, and the remaining was donated by local people and authorities.
The Border Guard Station also presented breeding pigs and cattle, and some other necessities to the two families.
The cost for construction of the two houses was funded by benefactors and other border troops.
