General Department of Logistics' representative presenting gifts to local policy beneficiaries

The program was in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the traditional day of the military logistical sector (July 11, 1950).

On this occasion, the delegation lit incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House (Phu Binh commune) and visited the memorial house of the General Department of Logistics (Thanh Dinh commune).

In addition, they also provided free health checkups and medicines for over 600 people, presented 120 gifts, at a total cost of nearly VND 360 million, to the local authorities, schools, policy beneficiaries, and national contributors.

Additionally, the GDL’s delegation held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over three gratitude houses, worth VND 80 million each, to policy households in the locality.

According to Major General Do Van Thien, over the past time, the general department has implemented many “return-to-the-roots” journeys as well as gratitude activities, contributing to paying tribute to the local authority and people in the former revolutionary base.
