Front-line hospitals presented with oxygen cylinders
PANO – Factory A41 of the Air Defense - Air Force (ADAF) Service on August 18 handed over oxygen cylinders to front-line hospitals for COVID-19 treatment.
Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Defense Minister and Head of the Special Working Mission of the Government on COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces, attended the event.

Under the direction of leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the ADAF Service, in the spirit of “fighting the pandemic like fighting the enemy,” the factory has focused on oxygen production for COVID-19 treatment.

During the event, Factory A41 handed over the oxygen cylinders to the hospitals. As scheduled, within two months, the factory will offer 10,000 40-liter oxygen cylinders to ten military field hospitals for infectious diseases, the COVID-19 treatment center of Military Hospital 175, Tan Binh district General Hospital and Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, General Luong praised the factory’s efforts in performing assigned tasks, asking them to promote research in response to the complicated developments of COVID-19 pandemic.
