Free health examination and medicines given to policy beneficiaries in Lang Son

Health check-ups given to 600 local people

Major General Nguyen Van Binh, GDT Deputy Political Commissar, attended the event.

In particular, the GDT provided free medical examinations, health counseling, and medicines for 600 policy beneficiaries and needy people in communes of Van Nham, Thanh Son, Minh Tien.

On the occasion, the GDT presented 60 gift packages, worth VND 30 million in total, to policy families and national contributors in the stationed area of Warehouse KV1.

Speaking at the program, Major General Nguyen Van Binh affirmed that these meaningful activities contributed to improving people’s health and stabilizing their lives while tightening the close ties between the GDT and local Party committee, authorities and people.

Also, he required the local authorities to closely work together with relevant units to raise people’s awareness of healthcare, as well as organize other free medicine and health check-up programs for local people.

Meanwhile, Gen. Binh asked troops of the Department of Weapons and Ammunition, especially Warehouse KV1 to conduct twinning activities between officers and local people to further uphold the noble virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the current context.
