At the event, the doctors and nurses thoughtfully examined health of more than 300 poor people, policy beneficiaries and gave them specific instructions on how to take care of their health, prevent and control epidemics.
They also sent a medical team to each house of the elderly and policy beneficiaries who were unable to go for the check-ups and provide free medicines for them.
On the occasion, Gia Dinh Regiment presented gifts, each worth VND 1.5 million, and provided health examination for three heroic Vietnamese mothers in An Phu commune, Cu Chi district and conducted other activities in celebration of the 77th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2022).
The event helped promote the close ties between the regiment and local Party committee, authorities and people.

Military Hospital 105 presents gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province. |
Meanwhile, from August 25-27, a 60-member mission from Military Hospital 105 of the General Department of Logistics, led by its director Senior Colonel Le Anh Tuan, conducted a “roots-returning” program, during which many gratitude activities were implemented in Quang Yen townlet, Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province.
The hospital’s staff checked health and provided free medicine for over 200 people and gave health counselling to them to prevent common diseases.
The hospital also sent a team of highly qualified specialists to transfer medical technology, guide the medical staff at Quang Hoa and Trung Khanh district General Hospitals to get used to and master numerous surgical techniques.

In the framework of the program, the mission offered incense in commemoration of heroes and fallen troops at historical relic site of Treatment Team 5, the predecessor of current Military Hospital 105.
On the occasion, the mission presented gifts to local authorities, mass organizations, policy beneficiary families, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People’s Armed Forces in Quang Hoa district. It held an art exchange with the locals as well.
The program demonstrated the gratitude of the hospital to local Party committee, authorities, and people for their great support and creation of favorable conditions for them in the past and at present.
