Notably, the advisory group model implemented by Regiment 880 has yielded impressive results. In early 2025, Private Sin Van Kien from Platoon 5, Company 2, Battalion 1, sought legal advice and support from the regiment’s advisory group regarding his family’s land use rights in his hometown. After receiving the request, the group guided Private Kien in collecting all relevant documents and materials, and provided him with a detailed explanation of the current legal regulations on land use, particularly those under the 2024 Land Law. The group also assisted him in drafting petitions and other necessary legal documents to submit to the local authorities. Thanks to the timely support, Kien clearly understood his family’s rights and learned how to resolve the matter properly in accordance with legal procedures and regulations.
According to Captain Hoang Van Phu, Political Commissar of Company 2, Battalion 1, the unit has observed a spirit of openness and a strong sense of responsibility among soldiers who proactively seek advice on issues related to learning, training, and legal matters. The fact that soldiers feel confident to speak up and ask for guidance is a positive sign, reflecting their trust in their leaders and the organization. This is also an opportunity for the unit to provide timely support and remove obstacles, helping soldiers feel secure and fulfill their duties. Captain Phu emphasized that giving advice is not just about answering questions, it is a way to accompany, educate, and guide soldiers in their thinking, thereby contributing to building a strong unit.
Accordingly, based on legal documents, Regiment 880 has standardized the content of law dissemination and education weekly, tailored to each personnel group. The selected content aligns closely with the unit’s specific characteristics and practical tasks.
Colonel Nguyen Quang Thanh, Political Commissar of Regiment 880, shared that each week, every company selects a law to introduce to its troops, requiring all officers and soldiers to study and fully understand the legal content. Each day, through small group activities and newspaper discussions, squad and company leaders assess the troops’ understanding. These models of legal dissemination and education have significantly contributed to building a disciplined and well-regulated unit.
