Wounded and sick solider receiving gifts at the event

The gift presentation was part of the activities to mark the 74th Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27).

At the event, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Cuong handed over gifts to wounded and sick soldiers and national contributors at the center. The mission also presented gifts to the Duy Tien Nursing Center and planted trees in the center’s compound.

Talking with wounded and sick soldiers at the center, General Cuong affirmed that generations of troops in the military have always kept in mind the contributions of fallen soldiers, wounded and sick soldiers, and other national contributors to the national liberation and defense cause.

On the occasion, General Cuong wished wounded and sick soldiers good health and urged them to overcome all difficulties and pains to have happy lives.

General Cuong asked personnel of the Duy Tien Nursing Center to overcome all challenges, promote unity and raise their responsibility in taking care of patients at the center. He also encouraged them to build the center into a comforting place for wounded and sick soldiers.
