Defense leaders pay pre-Tet visits to military units
PANO – Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense paid visits to military units ahead of the lunar New Year (Tet) festival on January 12.
Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong visited and offered Tet gifts to troops and people in the border area of Binh Phuoc province. Visiting Thanh Hoa Border Guard Station, the militia forces’ checkpoints, and a residential area nearby in Thanh Hoa commune, Bu Dop district, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong inquired after and highly praised the local troops and people for their efforts in reinforcing solidarity, grasping all situations, and collaborating with Cambodian units to build a border area of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.

When visiting the Binh Phuoc Provincial Border Guard and Military Commands, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong applauded the outcomes of the two units over the past time and urged them to continue maintaining combat readiness and ensuring a cozy, safe and happy Tet festival for troops.

The same day, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh visited Factory Z121 of the General Department of Defense Industry and Regiment 921 of Division 371 of the Air Defense – Air Force Service.

During the visits, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh praised the task implementation outcomes of the units and their efforts in preparing the Tet festival for troops and employees. He urged the units’ leaderships to ensure all necessities for troops, conduct gratitude activities, maintain combat readiness during the Tet holidays.
