Earlier, at 6:10 p.m. on February 16, in Chieng Son commune, Moc Chau district, troops of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with other law enforcement forces, apprehended two suspects: Giang Thi, born in 1998, residing in Ta Dieng village, Sop Bao district, Huaphanh province of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Trang Thi Di, born in 1989, residing in Pha Don village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province, for involvement in illegal drug trafficking. The seized items included 18,000 synthetic drug pills, two mobile phones, and one motorcycle.

He expressed the hope that in the future the unit would continue to leverage its achievements, strive for greater success on all fronts, especially in combating drug-related crimes, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area.
