Coast guards save five fishermen at sea
PANO – Ship CSB 2005 of Coast Guard Region 1 safely took five distressed fishermen ashore at 13:00 on January 9.

Earlier, at 6:30 on the same day, the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region 1 received information about a trawler from Nghe An province having trouble about 45 nautical miles east of Cua Hoi in Quang Binh province.
On receiving the information, Coast Guard Region 1 sent Ship CSB 2005 of Flotilla 102 working 15 nautical miles east of Cape Roon (Quang Binh) to the scene for the search and rescue mission.
At 11:30, the ship approached the trawler, numbered NA 98986 TS, with 22 crew-members on board. The distressed boat was captained by 37-year-old Nguyen Van Tuyen from Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.
Reportedly, at 5:00, five crew-members were seriously hit by a fishing net while collecting it, including two who had comas and two others having arms and ribs broken.
