Clean water sent to needy people in Ben Tre province
PANO - The Command of Coast Guard Region 3 has implemented urgent measures to prevent and control the disease caused by the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), and coordinated with local authorities to promote information dissemination on the prevention of the disease in areas where the unit is stationed.
The unit sent delegations to disseminate information on the Covid-19 pandemic’s complicated development, its dangerous effects, required nutrition to fight the disease, and measures to prevent the disease.
On the occasion, the Command of the Coast Guard Region 3 presented more than 1,000 medical face masks, 500 leaflets on how to prevent and control the Covid-19 disease, and 300 bottles of hand sanitizer to fishermen in coastal communes.

Earlier, Coast Guard Region 3 gave 200 bottles of fresh water, hundreds of medical face masks, and bottles of antiseptic water to people in Tan Phong commune, Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province, helping them overcome consequences caused by salt intrusion and prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.
* Ship 935 of Flotilla 811 under Brigade 125 of Naval Region 2 on March 23 carried more than 200,000 liters of fresh water to people who are facing water shortage in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province.
This was the 14th water tanker of clean water for local people in the Southwestern region, with an amount of nearly 5 million liters.
Besides, Naval Region 2 also presented 20 tanks of water, leaflets, and free face masks for people in the locality.
