PANO - In the current cause of national construction and defense, reputable people have strong influence on their community. Their role has been seen as a bridge conveying thoughts and aspirations of ethnic minority people to Party committees and authorities of localities at all levels.
With their prestige and practical activities, reputable people have promoted their core role in building the grassroots political system, maintaining security and order, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty and building new-style rural areas, among others. Meanwhile, they have disseminated and mobilized people to comply with the Party’s guidelines policies and the State’s laws, contributing to building national great solidarity, ensuring defense and security, reinforcing the people’s trust in the Party and the State, and promoting local development.
