Breeding cattle handed over to needy families
PANO - The emulation group of the armed forces in Khanh Hoa province on July 12 and 13 presented breeding cows to two poor households in Ba Cum Nam commune, Khanh Son district.
The pair of breeding cattle, worth VND 12 million each, were handed over to Tro Thi Hoi's family in Ka To village and Bo Bo Loc's family in Suoi Me village. The cost of the offered cattle came from the constituting units’ production funds.

Over the past years, the units under the emulation group of the provincial armed forces have always paid attention to needy families in the locality to help them develop household economy and reduce poverty. Particularly, they offer breeding cattle to needy local people every year, which is part of their efforts to implement the provincial armed forces’ movement themed “Army joining hands to build new-style rural areas.”
* A delegation of the Vietnam People's Army Newspaper, representatives of Vingroup, the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), and Military Hospital 103 on July 13 inaugurated and handed over a house of gratitude to Quach Thi Niem, family member of a martyr, in Huong Nhuong commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province.
Earlier, Vingroup granted VND 70 million for Quach Thi Niem's family to build the gratitude house during the Cycling Tournament “Back to Dien Bien Phu – People's Army Newspaper Cup.” Besides, the authorities, the Military Command of Lac Son district, and local people also donated money to build the house with a total value of VND 130 million.
On the occasion, the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) presented 50 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to 50 needy policy families in the communes of Huong Nhuong and Dinh Cu of Lac Son district.
