The activity is part of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guards’ undertakings to assist local orphans and disadvantaged children to overcome their hardship and to pursue their studying.

At the event, Khang’s grandfather Vi Van Quan shared that he was touched and happy for what his grandson has received from the local border guards. He believed that Khang will have the best conditions for living and studying when fostered by the local border station.

Major Le Ngoc Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Post of Na Meo International Border Gate, said that the unit has fulfilled the procedures to foster the child. The unit has arranged accommodation and assigned personnel to help Khang study, he added.

Currently, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard fosters nine children in the locality.
