Reportedly, the historical flood in November 2020 caused heavy landslides in the area, threatening the lives and property of local people. After the flooding, the Party Committee, authorities, agencies, organizations, and border guard force constructed a resettlement area and helped local people move to the new living place. Despite those efforts, people in the village are facing a lot of difficulties, including the lack of electricity.

Aware of the situation, Lang Mo Border Post, in collaboration with the local Party Committee, authorities, and benefactors, launched the project to build an electricity system in the village. Comprising 30 electricity poles and solar light bulbs, the system could illuminate roads in the village.

In addition to that, the border post also installed eight systems of solar light bulbs at elementary schools and kindergartens to serve their teaching and studying.
