Young intellectuals receive recruitment decisions.

These intellectuals are the first intellectuals to work for the corps in the period of 2021-2030. They are from ethnic minority groups in Dak Nong and Binh Phuoc provinces. Among them, 12 hold university undergraduates degrees and seven hold college degrees.

The young intellectuals will accompany the corps’ cadres and troops to guide local people in production and disease prevention. They will also help erase illiteracy among local ethnic minority children, and instruct locals on how to apply science and technology to life.

Previously, under the project entitled “More young intellectuals to work at economic-defense areas in the 2010-2020 period,” Army Corps 16 chose and received 156 young intellectuals. The intellectuals were aware of their duties, effectively performed their roles and responsibilities, kept close contacts with local households and assisted them in developing household economy. They opened refresher courses, provided technical assistance to locals to breed livestock and poultry. In addition, young intellectuals joined patrols to protect forests, project land, prevented forest fire and diseases, and strictly observed State law and local regulations. Their good deeds were highly appreciated by local party committees, authorities and people.
