Army Corps 15 supports needy border people
PANO - The Command of Army Corps 15 and its affiliates gave more than 6.5 tons of rice, worth VND 91.8 million to 328 needy workers and farmers in Ia Dal border commune, Ia H’Drai district, Kon Tum province on June 23 to partly ease their difficulties during this year’s between-crop period.

Bui Thi Nam from Ia Der village spoke highly of the army corps’ good deeds. She said that despite various difficulties in production and business, the unit and its affiliates have always assisted local people. “The gifts demonstrate the care of the unit’s leadership for the local farmers and workers and we will be side by side with the unit to overcome the difficulties,” Nam said.
Colonel Tran Cong Duc, Deputy Director of the Department of Politics of the army corps said that in implementing its mission of economic development and ensuring national defense and security and social building, Army Corps 15 has always worked closely with local Party committees, authorities, and people to build new-style rural areas and improve socio-economic infrastructure.
They have also presented a number of houses, breeding cattle and financial assistance to locals to help them sustainably escape from poverty.
