Army Corps 15 builds house for needy local household
PANO - Army Corps 15, in association with Company 72, held a ceremony on September 9 to inaugurate and hand over a gratitude house to the household of Old Ro Mah Uing (62 years old) in Tung village, Ia Nam commune, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province.
The house was constructed on an area of 40sq.m at a total cost of VND 70 million.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Phan Van Phu, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Company 72, emphasized that over the past time, in spite of a lot of difficulties, the unit has paid attention to raising the living standards of its workers and local people by creating stable jobs for them.
In addition, the company has provided rice and free health check-ups to local people while allocating fund to the building of houses for needy people. The unit’s practical deeds have helped raise the material and spiritual lives of workers and ethnic minority people in the border locality.
On the same day, Army Corps 15 and Company 72 inaugurated a house for Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet, a worker in Group 1 of Company 72.
