VPA’s General Staff checks Army Corps 3
PANO – Major General Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), inspected Army Corps 3 on March 6.
During the inspection visit, Major General Vu Van Sy, Commander of Army Corps 3, informed General Tien about results of the corps’ task performance last year as well as their situations during and after the recent Lunar New Year festival (Tet).

General Tien acknowledged the unit’s efforts in implementing and fulfilling all assigned missions, particularly in promoting training and combat readiness quality and enhancing troops’ political stance and competencies.
The general requested the chain-of-command of Army Corps 3 to further hone their cadres and soldiers, conduct training for the recruits of this year’s enlistment drive, and cooperate with local authorities to maintain social order and security.
Previously, General Tien visited and encouraged new enlistees in Regiment 66, Division 10 of Army Corps 3.
