Viettel has mapped out various policies and created favorable conditions for its female staff, who account for nearly 30 per cent of the group’s manpower and work across Vietnam and in ten overseas markets.

As a result, Viettel’s female staff have filled different positions, contributing to gradually narrowing the gender gap in principle. They make up 10.39 per cent in Party committee at the grassroots level and higher, and nearly 19 percent in managing posts.

Meanwhile, at Viettel Trade and Import-Export Company, 35.26 percent of managers and 36.67 percent of all-level Party Committee leaders are women.

Lauding the work performance of the two units over the past time, General Van hoped that they would continue embracing and implementing fully all directives from higher level, resolutions and guidelines, particularly those related to women’s work and gender equality.

General Van also gave some suggestions to improve the work in the coming time.
