Vietnam Military History Museum construction to be accelerated

On inspecting the project and hearing reports, the GDP’s Chief hailed the considerable efforts of the project’s Management Board, contractors, and functional units during task implementation; as well as the close coordination between functional units and investors so as to implement the project smoothly with law observance.

General Quyet affirmed that this is an important project of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. In comparison to last month’s inspection, the construction has changed, and basically completed according to the previous conclusion of the GDP Chief.

The GDP leader requested the project’s Management Board and GDP’s affiliated units to continue to implement the project as regulated with absolute safety and good quality. They should also promote responsibility so as to complete and accelerate remaining tasks by August 30 and be ready to serve visitors by September 2024.

Meanwhile, the project’s contractors should strengthen forces, prepare acceptance documents, and conduct capital recovery as regulated. Besides, the project’s Management Board is requested to promote responsibility and coordinate with relevant units, to ensure the quality of the project as scheduled, among others.

During the inspection

The GDP Chief asked them to accomplish the construction before ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People’s Defense Festive Day, and the GDP’s 80th founding anniversary.
