Tasks assigned to “Meridian Team” to Army Games 2023
PANO - The Department of Cartography under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army held a ceremony on March 1 to start the training program for 2023 and assign duties to the Vietnamese meridian team to take part in the coming International Army Games 2023 (Army Games 2023).

Dr. Colonel Bui Yen Tinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Cartography, chaired the event.
In the Army Games 2021, the Vietnamese meridian team won a bronze medal, ranking the third among six participating teams. In the Army Games 2022, the team was placed the fourth among eight teams. Also in the games in 2022, the team had an individual prize.
Promoting achievements and experience gained in the previous Army Games, coaches and athletes of the team this year are determined to practice hard, actively grasp changes in contents, rules, and competition regulations in the host country to promptly adjust the training content and plan.
The team members were urged to focus on holding firm stance, bravery, will, showing high resolve and performing all required exercises, improving personal and team achievements, and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
