At the working session, President Vo Van Thuong was briefed on the history and tradition of Radar Station 55, its missions, and task accomplishment in 2022 and in the first half of this year.
In 2022 and the first six months of this year, the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of Radar Station 55 have paid attention to political and ideological education. As a result, all troops demonstrate firm political stance, high combat readiness spirit, and determination to undertake and complete assigned missions.
The quality of combat readiness training and management of designated areas has been enhanced, contributing to firmly protecting the national air space. In addition, the technical and logistics work has been paid attention to and effectively carried out; troops’ living standards have been enhanced.

Over the past time, the unit has closely cooperated with local party committees and authorities to effectively carry out defense and security consolidation and socio-economic development and gratitude and hunger elimination and poverty reduction movement, contributing to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and air defense - air force troops in the people’s hearts.
Speaking at the working session, State President Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated and lauded troops of Radar Station 55 for their responsibility, determination, and achievements over the past time. He requested the party committee and chain-of-command to continue to grasp the Party’s guidelines on military and defense tasks and the national protection mission in the new period, especially combat readiness and air space management tasks.
The station should focus on building a comprehensively strong, exemplary, and outstanding unit and continuously enhance leadership capability and combat strength of party organization and members. It should ensure that all troops are firm in political stance, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and people, and ready to combat and excellently complete all missions assigned by the Party, State, and people, said the State President.
