Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the VPA’s General Department of Politics, Head of the Steering Board of the festival, attended the event.
The ceremony also saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung, former Director of the National Defense Academy; Lieutenant General Nguyen Long Cang, Commander of Military Region 5; Major General Le Xuan Sang, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Information and Education and Head of the festival’s organizing panel; and leaders from other military units, local authorities, and participating art troupes.

With the theme “Songs encouraging troops during campaigns”, 14 art programs from 14 public art troupes during the festival recreated the nation's heroic traditions with the beautiful image of Uncle Ho's soldier. It also showed the strong will to overcome all hardship and the determination in implementing emulation movements of the armed force today. Each song and art performance is a new epic, vividly reflecting the lives of soldiers, youths and students through various perspectives.
Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia stressed that the festival's success demonstrates the close cooperation between the units, localities, and schools at all levels in organizing various artistic programs.
"The festival has made a deep impression on audiences and is truly a delightful experience for troops, youths, and students," he added.

At the event, the General Department of Politics presented emulation flags for the excellent art programs of the art troupes, including VPA’s General Department of Logistics, the Staff Department of Military Region 5, Division 361 of the Air Defense and Air Force Service, Quang Ninh provincial Military Command, Division 968 of Military Region 4, Naval Region 3, Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Military Command, Army Corps 15, Army Corps 3, Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang city’s Military Command. Additionally, 15 collectives and individuals were also awarded Certificate of Merits for their outstanding performances during the event.
