Gen. Nghia said the thank at a meeting with leaders and reporters of press agencies nationwide on June 16 in Hanoi on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

To meet such missions in the second half of the year and subsequent  years, Gen. Nghia asked military and civilian press agencies to closely coordinate with each other and promote information dissemination on the outcomes of implementing the central resolution on the Party building and revamping, the Politburo’s Directive 05 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle in combination with the movement of “Promoting tradition, devoting talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers”.

Press agencies were also urged to continue popularizing achievements in defense-military missions, defense external service; to update and hail troops’ feats of arms and other role models in the army, contributing to beautifying the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the current context.
