Accordingly, the PAN has well fulfilled all assigned tasks, closely followed and covered important events of the army and the country, with a focus on military-defense and armed-force building missions; promptly reflecting events that captured the attention of the public; and orientating public’s opinion. Especially, the PAN has issued a number of articles on fighting “peaceful evolution” plots of hostile forces and opened a new column named “prevention of self-evolution and self-transformation.” The PAN has successfully increased the circulation of its print publications and the page-view of its online editions. The Party Committee and Editorial Board of the PAN have paid due attention to staff training to improve their expertise and ability to meet the requirements of assigned missions.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the MND, General Ngo Xuan Lich hailed achievements of the PAN and stressed that the PAN should actively study and closely grasp the guidelines and policies of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and the MND so as to more effectively implement the PAN's information missions, contributing to creating consensus in the whole society. The PAN should also pay due attention to building up a contingent of qualified staffers and continue to renew its contents and forms of information in order to protect the ideological basis of the Party and highlight achievements of Vietnam in national construction and protection.
* At the Military Broadcasting Center, General Ngo Xuan Lich spoke highly of the achievements of the center over the past time and required the leadership of the center to continue building the center into a stronger unit while paying attention to developing its human resources to better meet the requirements of its assigned missions.
* Congratulating the National Defense Journal on its recent achievements, General Ngo Xuan Lich tasked the journal to closely follow the direction of the Party, the Central Military Commission and the MND in doing in-depth research on the Party’s guideline and policies on military-defense missions as well as activities of troops in the whole military.
