General Xuong, Director of the Army Academy, expressed the hope during a visit made by a delegation of the People’s Army Newspaper, led by Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo on February 19.
At the meeting, General Xuong reviewed the school’s task performance in the past, highlighting its efforts to comprehensively innovate training contents and programs, contributing to higher education and training quality.
The school has enhanced basic and applied research, reviewed practice, developed theory, improved the efficiency of scientific research to deserve to be a center for training military personnel and high quality human resources for the military and the country.
Apart from domestic military personnel, the academy also trains military officials for Laos and Cambodia.

Speaking highly of the newspaper’s dissemination on the academy’s activities, General Xuong emphasized that they are a source of encouragement for the school’s officials, instructors, cadets, and troops to fulfill their teaching, studying and researching missions assigned by the Party, State, and military.
The school’s director hoped to further collaborate with the newspaper and its representative office in Lam Dong province in the time ahead.
Expressing thanks for the warm reception of the host, Major General Doan Xuan Bo thanked the academy for creating favorable conditions for the newspaper in information dissemination and for supporting its representative office in all aspects.

The newspaper’s chief suggested the school’s Directorate and authorized agencies to continue to create conditions for it and its office to collect full information of the school’s operations. He emphasized that the newspaper will focus its dissemination on all aspects of the school to beautify the image of the school’s personnel, thus shining the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in training, doing scientific research on military, defense and Fatherland protection.
He invited the school’s officials and instructors who have many years of research in both theory and practice to write articles on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation and fighting signs of “peaceful evolution” for the newspaper to make the dissemination on the work lively and deep in theory.
Major General Doan Xuan Bo wished the school’s Board of Directors, contingent of instructors, cadets, and troops health in the new year. He hoped that the school will hold its leading training position in the military to deserve the trust of the Party, State, and people.
