PAN and Coast Guard Region 4 to boost dissemination work
PANO - On November 7, in Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province, the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) coordinated with the Coast Guard Region 4 Command to organize a conference to review the one-year implementation of coordination in dissemination work during the 2023-2027 period.
Major General Doan Xuan Bo, PAN’s Editor-in-Chief, and Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 4, co-chaired the conference.

Accordingly, over the past time, the PAN has boosted dissemination about all activities of Coast Guard Region 4, focusing on training, combat readiness, patrolling, law enforcement, and the illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing prevention and control, the “Coast Guards stand side by side with fishermen” program, and the “I love national sea and islands” contest.

Articles published on the PAN have contributed to raising awareness among officers, soldiers, and the public of the Party and State’s policies on protecting national sovereignty, security, and maritime safety, as well as on building and defending the country.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Doan Xuan Bo and Major General Nguyen Van Dung agreed that in the coming time, the two units would continue to enhance the quality and effectiveness of information exchange and coordination, while improving knowledge and skills, contributing to promoting the noble image of the Vietnamese Coast Guard in general and the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in particular.
