With a number of feats-of-arms and achievements in the past, the forces have been honored with noble orders, such as Ho Chi Minh Order, Fatherland Protection Order, and Feat-of-Arm Order.
Addressing the event, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky confirmed that during its long history, the province always stands in the most dangerous position in the struggle to safeguard the Fatherland.
Ky emphasized that the local armed forces have inherited local people’s culture, dignity, solidarity, indomitability and promoting the tradition of fighting the enemy to protect the country with close attachment to defending border security.
The provincial official highlighted the local armed forces’ strength and development, from the gathering of concentrated armed organizations, the development of guerilla units to a core force in the struggle for national protection.

The same day, Brigade 94 under General Department II received the first-class Fatherland Protection Order and marked its 45th founding anniversary (October 20, 1977 - 2022).
Promoting its heroic tradition of “Especially elite, secret maneuvering, brave ingenuous, united and determined-to-win,” Brigade 94 has closely embraced the Party directives and resolutions, developed into an elite, compact, strong, effective unit. It has attached importance to intensive, synchronous, and high-intense training; taken tactics as the center, techniques as the basis, physical strength as the foundation; and conducted training in line with combat reality.
The brigade has also well implemented mass mobilization work, built firm local political establishments, actively teamed with local party committee, authorities, and organizations to follow situational developments, helped local in new-style rural area building, surmounting of natural disaster consequences, contributing to local socio-economic development.
