Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Chief of the VPA’s General Staff, hosted a reception for the MPS delegation.
On behalf of the mission, General To sent congratulations to the VPA’s General Staff, affirming that over the past time, the military and public security forces have been side by side with each other to fulfill all assigned tasks.
Besides, the unit also made good recommendations to the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense (MND) on guidelines as well as policies in military-defense missions.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security stated that the close ties between the two ministries should be further enhanced and developed to undertake all assigned tasks in the coming time.
For his part, General Nam expressed sincere thanks to the Central Public Security Party Committee and the MPS in general and General To in particular for their congratulations, affirming that the two forces have effectively joined hands to firmly protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as social order and security in order to help create a favorable environment for the development of the country.
In the time to come, General Nam urged the two sides to closely work with each other, focusing on the implementation of Decree No. 03/2019/ND-CP, which regulates the coordination between the MND and MPS in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, preventing crimes and performing national defense missions.
He also hoped the noble partnership between the two ministries will be maintained and further developed, contributing to fulfilling all assigned missions.
