According to a report at the event, since its inception, Army Corps 12 has gained positive results in training, combat readiness, and force regularity building. These outcomes have confirmed that the organization of an elite, compact and strong army corps is the right, scientific, and close-to-reality policy of the Central Military Commission and the MND.

Army Corps 12 has affirmed its strength, mobility, command capacity, combat coordination of officers at all levels and the ability to complete combat missions in hi-tech warfare.

After one year of establishment, the corps has overcome initial difficulties, step-by-step stabilized, and fulfilled all assignments. Its affiliated agencies and units have strictly observed combat readiness duties, conducted patrols and guard duty, and ensured safety of assigned targets, particularly during holidays and big celebration events of the Party and State.

Attentively, it has pro-actively built and adjusted documents related to combat readiness, disaster prevention and control and search and rescue operations according to higher levels’ new plans. In addition, it has coordinated with localities to sketch out plans and assign missions in response to incidents, natural disasters, and search and rescue while actively rehearsing plans on shifting of combat readiness posture.
