According to the report delivered at the conference, over the past three years, the Army Corps 12 Command and party committees and chains-of-command at all level in the whole army corps have strictly grasped the resolutions of the Central Military Commission on innovating education and training to meet the task requirements of building the military in the new situation and raising the training quality in the 2023-2030 period and following years.

Implementing the motto “The school’s training quality is the unit’s combat readiness competence,” Army Corps 12 has implemented specific contents and tasks of training for its contingent of officers, while carefully selecting officers and instructors for refresher courses at academies and schools inside and outside the military as well as abroad, in line with training regulations.

Every year, Army Corps 12 organizes programs on coordination in training and practical research for academies and schools in the whole military, provide favorable conditions for foreign military officers who are studying in Vietnam and the contingent of officers who are instructors and conducting scientific research to have field trips to the unit.

The training quality and combat readiness competence of Army Corps 12 has been, therefore, improved significantly. Just one month after its establishment, the corps successfully organized a large-scale live-fire tactical exercise, with the participation of different forces, deserving to be the first army corps of the military to be developed in the elite, compact, strong and modernized direction.

In the coming years, Army Corps 12 will continue to strictly implement resolutions, directives and regulations of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and instructions from higher-level functional agencies; closely follow the reality of training and combat readiness work to map out training plans; increase the efficiency of coordination between the corps and military academies and schools; and implemented measures following the army corps’ motto, contributing to building the “elite, compact, strong” and modernized army corps, meeting the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
