In its conclusion, the delegation evaluated that this year, the Party committees, chains-of-command of units have well directed the whole units to comprehensively carry out solutions, and complete all assigned missions. They have also paid due attention to building healthy and strong Party cells at all levels and strengthening personnel organization according to higher level’s instructions.

In addition, the units have closely coordinated with relevant units, kept a close watch on situational developments in the stationed areas, made timely suggestions to effectively deal with situations, and well managed and firmly defended national sovereignty, border, sea and islands.

The MND mission also highly praised the three units for their good implementation of mass mobilization activities, bringing about practical and effective outcomes for local people. These included the “Coast guards support fishermen” program, the “Coast guard force and ethnic minority and religious people” mass mobilization activity, the programs of “Paving the way to school for children,” and “Adopted children of border posts,” and models “Party members take charge of households in border areas,” and “Rice jar for the poor.”

Addressing the inspecting visit, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Trong Binh hailed the three units for their attainments in the year and asked them to promptly fix shortcomings pointed out by the mission.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, Gen. Binh requested them to continue to give advice to local party committees and authorities to well carry out local military-defense missions, closely work with relevant forces to ensure political security and social order and safety in the garrisoned areas. They should also strictly observe combat readiness duties, regularly review and supplement disaster prevention and search and rescue plans to keep forces and vehicles on stand-by, improve training quality, and renovate dissemination methods.
