The team from the Air Defense - Air Force Academy, consisting of seven cadets, excelled in various challenges, including multiple-choice tests, problem-solving, and experimental physics. The competition serves as an annual platform for the brightest physics students nationwide to showcase their talent, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Physics Society, and universities and colleges throughout the country.
With thorough preparation and adherence to the competition rules, the cadets of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy demonstrated confidence and composure across all three categories. Their efforts earned them six individual prizes (five second prizes and one consolation prize) and the highest score in the multiple-choice category among 44 participating teams. These results secured them second place overall, and the team was awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam Physics Society.
The Olympiad provided the academy's instructors and cadets with an opportunity to showcase their capabilities at a national-level competition while reinforcing the academy’s prestige in student competitions. Furthermore, it created valuable opportunities for information and experience sharing among teachers and opened doors for collaboration among schools to enhance the quality of physics research and teaching.
