Missile Brigade 490’s combat readiness inspected
PANO - A delegation of the General Staff (GS) of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, on August 28, checked combat readiness at Missile Brigade 490 under the Artillery Corps on the occasion of the August Revolution in 1945 and National Day (September 2).
After inspecting the bridge, the GS’s leader hailed the unit’s thorough preparation in all field, especially strictly following directives and orders of higher levels on implementing combat readiness, as well as State’s law and military discipline with absolute safety. They also adjusted documents as regulated while preparing personnel, vehicles, equipment and weapons, and organizing training according to set plans.
Gen. Anh also requested the brigade to continue to observe all directives and resolutions during combat readiness training and adhere to military regulations and discipline, attach importance to Party and political work, and take care of troops’ spiritual life during national major holidays.
Meanwhile, the unit should also coordinate with local authorities and public security force to grasp situations and be ready in any circumstances.
