Military youths respond to Traffic Culture Festival
PANO – The Army Youth Committee under the General Department of Politics (GDP), in coordination with Army Corps 15, Military Region 5 and Army Corps 3’s Department of Politics and other relevant organizations, organized this year’s traffic culture festival for young officers and soldiers on September 15.

Addressing the event, General Van underscored that the festival is a political and social activity which shows the determination of Youth Union’s chapters in strictly observing the Traffic Law and maintaining standards of the traffic culture. Meanwhile, the festival also contributes to raising public’s awareness of the traffic culture.
General Van also asked units to continue implementing resolutions and instructions of the Party, State and Ministry of National Defense on “Enhancing traffic order and safety in the whole army”.
In addition, they should also closely work with relevant agencies to educate youths and people in raising their awareness of observance of the Traffic Law so as to reduce traffic accidents and violations in the country, he added.
On this occasion, an onstage competition entitled “Youths with traffic culture” was also held.
