Campaign to raise public awareness of traffic culture launched
PANO - On December 3, the Can Tho municipal Committee on Traffic Safety, in association with local agencies, opened the second festive day of whole-people with traffic culture.
The event was held in response to Traffic Safety Year 2017 launched by the National Committee on Traffic Safety under the theme of “Building traffic culture among teenagers and children”.
The event in Can Tho city includes activities such as a conference on how to improve the efficiency of information dissemination on traffic safety, a signing ceremony for committing to not violating traffic law for students, and so on.
At the ceremony, the municipal Committee on Traffic Safety handed over 27 scholarships from Prudential Vietnam, worth VND 100 million in total, to children whose parents experienced traffic accidents, in a bid to help them overcome hardship and strive for good academic records.
