PANO - The Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command in association with 29 army units stationed in the province yesterday started the construction of a rural road in Cam Tan commune of Cam Lam district.

It is part of emulation activities towards the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19th) and National Independence (September 2nd) as well as the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

The 215m long and 3.5m wide road was built by troops of Engineering Brigade 293 at a cost of over VND 400 million.

Addressing the ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Hao, Deputy Political Commissar of the Central Technical Vocational School, who represents the participating units, held that the construction meets the travel demand of local residents, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development, poverty reduction and hunger eradication.
