Themed “Anti-plastic waste,” the movement aimed to raise the unit’s staff’s awareness of and sense of responsibility for reducing plastic waste by changing their habits of using plastic products, particularly saying no to plastic bags, thereby contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful working environment.

To make the movement successful, the unit’s Party Committee, Directorate and Council for Emulation and Rewards asked its subordinate offices and mass organizations to promote education of the harms of plastic waste to the economy and society, environment, human health for all officers, soldiers and contractors, and work out effective solutions to minimizing the use of plastic products and reusing or recycling plastic products.

In his speech, MSI Director Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Dinh requested leaders of offices to take the lead in the movement, supervise and evaluate their offices’ implementation of the movement as well as to reward outstanding groups and individuals in implementing this movement.
