Previously, due to prolonged and heavy rain, a serious landslide occurred in Can Cau village, A Lu commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, blocking the Provincial Highway 158. Fortunately, no human or property loss was reported.

Facing the situation, the Defense - Economic Unit 345 deployed 32 troops and vehicles, in collaboration with the local militia force and traffic staff, to help the local authority surmount disaster consequences.

At the present, on-duty functional forces are doing their utmost to overcome landslide aftermath as soon as possible.
