Military to build 8,000 houses for personnel with housing difficulty
PANO - On November 7, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, Deputy Director of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army, chaired a conference to launch a support program for military personnel facing housing difficulties.
The program's official launch ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2023, in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province. The program's objective is to strive to build and donate 8,000 houses of comradeship and solidarity to policy beneficiaries.

During this occasion, the program's organizing committee will also engage in various activities, including offering incense at the historical site of the General Department of Political Affairs, visiting and providing gifts to policy families, and conducting medical examinations and giving free medicines to policy beneficiaries.
At the conference, the delegates expressed reviewed and agreed with the progress report on the program's preparation, discussed plans for the launch ceremony, and evaluated the advantages and challenges, and proposed solutions for future program implementation.

In his concluding remarks, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau commended the close collaboration and remarkable preparation efforts of various agencies and units for the launching event.
He required the organizing panel to closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies to actively mobilize participation from organizations and individuals both inside and outside the military.
