General Staff reviews training missions and force building
PANO - Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army chaired a conference on April 15 at the Mieu Mon National Training Center to review its training missions and force building in the first quarter of this year.

Reportedly, the whole-military has seriously implemented orders of the Chief of the General Staff on military-defense missions, conducted sound preparations for training, 2021 recruitment drive, while carrying out training activities as scheduled.
In addition, the commanders of military units at all levels have held refresher courses on the Party’s resolutions, laws, line-up regulations, and shooting for their personnel while enhancing political and ideological education for troops.
Speaking at the event, General Nghia required units to address shortcomings, continue to effectively implement higher levels’ orders, and improve training quality and urged their leadership to grasp all situations, ensure spiritual life for troops, seriously conduct COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and maintain weapons and equipment for training and combat readiness.
