General Department of Techniques' unit receives noble order
PANO – The Staff of the General Department of Techniques held a ceremony on February 20 to receive the second-class Fatherland Protection Order.
In the 2011-2016 period, the unit successfully completed all assigned missions; especially providing timely advice for the General Department of Techniques’ Party Committee on directing technical missions in the whole army and improving the quality of advisory and technical work for affiliated units.

Over the past time, the unit’s Party Committee instructed affiliated units to promote the “Determined to win” emulation movement in line with the implementation of “building a healthy and strong Party” movement, contributing to strengthening political stance and firm willpower of the unit’s troops and meeting the requirements of missions in the current context.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Quy Dam, Director of the General Department of Techniques, highly appreciated the unit’s remarkable achievements. He also asked the unit to continue bringing into play their traditions; improving its scientific research capabilities; innovating working methods; and effectively implementing resolutions of the Party and the Central Military Commission (CMC), especially Resolution No.382 of the CMC on the leadership of technical work in the current context.
