 Overview of the conference
Over the past year, the unit thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented instructions and resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense, while introducing new operation measures to fulfill assigned tasks.

The unit’s leadership actively and proactively improved troops’ political stance, successfully held a scientific conference entitled “Building General Department of Techniques strong in politics in the current  situation” and the fifth Women’s Congress, and participated in a competition for food safety which won a certificate from the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the conference, the unit also set out orientations and nine key missions in the party and political work in 2017,  focusing on Continuing to grasp thoroughly resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress, Resolution No.5 of the Politburo on promoting the campaign “Learning and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example,” Central Resolution No.4 of the 12th National Party Congress on Party building, and preventing the degradation of political ideology, morality and lifestyle, “self-evolution” and “self-transformation”; Resolutions of the 10th Military Party Congress; and resolutions of the general department’s party committee on Party Committee building in 2017.
