Missions in Party and political work for second half of year deployed

PANO – The General Department of Politics held a conference for political officers in the whole army in Hanoi on July 12^th under the chair of its deputy chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia.

Addressing the conference, General Nghia ran over the results of the Party and political work in the first six months of 2016, stressing that units and agencies in the whole army closely grasped and strictly implemented directives and resolutions of the Central Party Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense and decrees and plans on Party and political work of the General Department of Politics for 2016. The highlights are the study and implementation of the Resolutions of the 10^th Military Party Organization Congress and the 12^th Central Party Congress as well as the direction and organization for army units to join the election of deputies to the 14^th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels. Troops hold firm political stance, ready to undertake and accomplish any assigned missions.

In the second half of the year, units and agencies in the whole army are to strengthen political education and training missions to ensure that all troops strictly understand the current situations and missions, plots and tricks of hostile forces so that they could have strong determination and high vigilance to foil the “peaceful evolution” plot and prevent the “self evolution”, while building strong morale, ready to fulfill any assigned missions. More activities to better the organization and implementation of emulation campaigns, resolutions of higher levels, military-civilian activities and other projects were also discussed.
