Among the notable activities planned are five major events, namely an epic theatrical performance at the commemorative ceremony for the 80th founding anniversary of the VPA (organized by the Military University of Culture and Arts); the award ceremony of the "Portrait of soldiers" photo contest (organized by the People's Army Newspaper); a cultural, literary, and artistic exhibition at the pedestrian street of Hoan Kiem (Returned Sword) Lake (organized by the Department of Political Education and Information), a live broadcast combining commentary and art titled "The Historical Path" at the Vietnam Military History Museum (organized by Vietnam Television); the "Unforgettable Song" art program and an exhibition on the 80-year history of the military at the Nguyen Hue-Le Loi pedestrian streets in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City (organized by the Military Broadcasting and Television Center).
