During the visits to Brigade 94 and Department 12 of the General Department II, Brigade 87 of the Chemical Corps, and the Dong Nai provincial Military Command, General Minh praised their outstanding results obtained over the past time. He asked the units to closely follow the situational development, continuously improve the quality of training, combat readiness, regularity building, discipline observance, and unit building.

The GDP’s deputy chief urged the units to focus on education to raise troops' stance and determination in executing their tasks; continue to pay attention to building the Party and maintaining the unity and consensus; actively participate in emulation activities to mark the foundation day of the Party, welcome the New Year, and celebrate national holidays in 2025. They were asked to grasp and implement higher levels’ directives on organizing a joyful, safe, and economical lunar New Year while maintaining high combat readiness.
The same day, General Minh chaired a meeting with officers and soldiers of the GDP’s agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City, during which he praised their efforts and dedication. The GDP’s deputy chief urged each agency and unit, according to their functions and tasks, to overcome challenges and complete all assigned missions. During the lunar New Year holiday, agencies and units must ensure effective implementation of policies for military families and celebrate the New Year in a joyful, safe, cost-effective manner, and maintain high combat readiness.
On this occasion, General Minh presented certificates of merit from the GDP’s Chief to six collectives and individuals from Vietnam Airlines for their outstanding contribution to building the military, strengthening national defense, and protecting the country.
Also on January 15, a delegation from the General Staff (GS), led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, checked Armored Brigade 273’s observance of combat readiness regulations.

After inspecting the unit, General Binh praised Brigade 273 for effectively maintaining combat readiness and preparing for the lunar New Year. He urged the unit to fully grasp the directives and resolutions from superior levels; coordinate with local authorities and functional forces; thoroughly understand the situation in the area; prepare sufficient forces and equipment to effectively handle any situations that may arise. The unit should also focus on protecting warehouses and stations, conducting fire and explosion prevention and disease control, preparing for the new training season, and holding a joyful, safe, healthy New Year.
On the occasion of the lunar New Year, the GS’s deputy chief wished the unit’s troops health, prosperity, and happiness and presented gifts from the GS to the unit.
