CMC, MND delegation pays pre-Tet visits to agencies, units in Quang Ngai, Military Region 5
PANO - A delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), on January 12 paid pre-Tet (lunar New Year) visits and extended Tet greetings to the Military Command, the Border Guard Command and the Convalescent Center for National Contributors of Quang Ngai province; Divisions 315, 2 and Artillery Brigade 368 under Military Region 5.

Having heard reports by agencies and units, Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To acknowledged and applauded them for great efforts and achievements. He asked them to stay united, do better the internal political protection work, and build a contingent of healthy and strong cadres. In addition, they should strictly observe directives and instructions of higher levels on combat readiness regulations before, during and after Tet.
Units were requested to manage troops’ thought during task performance, realize the Government’s Resolution 03 on the coordination between the Ministries of Public Security and National Defense in carrying out national security tasks, ensuring social order and safety, preventing crime and implementing defense missions in the stationed localities.

Moreover, they should make thorough preparations for training sessions and welcoming new recruits in 2025, implement policies for discharged soldiers, comprehensively carry out Party and political work, and organize a healthy, safe and economical Tet for troops as well as join hands with local authorities to bring a cozy Tet for local policy beneficiaries, national contributors and people.
At the Convalescent Center, the GDP leader inquired after and expressed thanks to wounded and sick soldiers and national contributors for their contribution and sacrifice.

On the occasion, Gen. To laid wreath and offered incense at the Memorial House dedicated to heroic martyrs of Division 2, handed over Tet gifts from the CMC and MND to units’ troops and the center.
Representative from the Military Region 5 Command also took this chance to present Tet gifts to units.
