Mr. Tran Cam Tu, General Phan Van Giang and other leaders inspect the preparations for the celebration of the VPA’s 80th foundation anniversary. |
Emphasizing the significance of the VPA’s 80th foundation anniversary and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-people Defense Festive Day, General Phan Van Giang required agencies and units to closely coordinate with each other to fully prepare in all aspects and ensure absolute safety, thereby successfully organizing the event, leaving good impressions on leaders of the Party and States, international and domestic delegates and people and soldiers across the country.
The defense minister underlined that the decoration work for the celebration should ensure solemnity, showing the significance of the event. Weapons and equipment on display should be arranged in a scientific manner, spotlighting the strength of the VPA.
He requested the General Department of Political Affairs to direct relevant agencies and units to edit, supplement and finalize the script for the artistic program. Art performances at the program should demonstrate the growth, strength and glorious feats-of-arms of the military in the resistance wars for national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of building and safeguarding the Fatherland.
